تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ المسد [1]
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) [1]
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ المسد [2]
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) [2]
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ المسد [3]
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) [3]
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ المسد [4]
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) [4]
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ المسد [5]
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) [5]
